On the night of September 18, 2024, around 1:20 AM, Dr. Shahnawaz Kumbhar, a respected doctor from Umerkot in Pakistan’s Sindh province, was killed in what was later revealed to be a fake police encounter near Sindhri police station in Mirpur Khas district.
